The area of Northeast Los Angeles is extremely desirable to all developers primarily due to its location. Not long ago a developer who wanted to do a variety of large homes in Moon Canyon lost the battle with the Mt. Washington residents. It took years of court dates and due process only to have the land taken as ‘eminent domain’ and the property turned over to become a park. Will developers ever learn that Northeast Los Angeles is not Burger King and they cannot have it their way… Residents have a say in their community and always will regarding any development.
