The area of Northeast Los Angeles is extremely desirable to all developers primarily due to its location. The communities keep an awesome watch via the neighborhood councils on all projects proposed for ading residential properties by any developer. The specific plan for building is quite strict and even more so when it involves hillside structures.

Not long ago a developer who wanted to do a variety of large homes in Moon Canyon lost the battle with the Mt. Washington residents. It took years of court dates and due process only to have the land taken as ‘eminent domain’ and the property turned over to become a park.
